"It takes a village to raise a Jackalope"
Team Jackalope consists of some of the sharpest minds, riders, mentors, designers, business coaches, accountants, and bike nerds the Kootenays have to offer. Our team is building bikes that are Bred to Shred in the Big Eddy, Revelstoke BC.
Jack Sutter
Jack’s interest in designing and building things started at a young age. He explored with woodworking and car audio before diving into metalworking in his high school metal shop.
After working numerous manufacturing and fabrication jobs in his hometown of Reno, NV, he moved to BC in 2018 to chase a dream of working in the mountain bike industry.
In 2020, Jack secured a workshop in the Big Eddy, marking the beginning of building bicycle frames and the Jackalope journey.
Jeff Polster
Jeff and Jack met in the summer of 2022 when Jack enlisted Jeff’s help on a project for Red Bull Joyride. This job had them working as a team to design and fabricate a semi-spherical satellite dish for the world famous slope style course.
Jeff is a fellow bicycle enthusiast with experience as a bike messenger in his home town of Edmonton, AB. His love for bikes and experience in product design, project management, and manufacturing make him a solid addition to the crew.
The two find themselves together again to create the detailed computer models necessary for the innovative bicycles that you can soon expect from the Jackalope factory.
Danny Smith
Danny and Jack have spent a lot of time together working at Revelstoke’s Tantrum Ride Co. He has plenty of experience with bikes outside the shop as well having travelled the world via bicycle.
Danny is a wealth of information when it comes to bicycle mechanics, design, machining, and bicycle travel. His 20 years in bicycle mechanics speaks to his unbound knowledge and expertise and elevates Jackalope Bikes to the next level.
