The early adopter pre-sale bikes will be delivered in June 2025.
This steel & aluminum frame is designed and built in Revelstoke, BC. The Kanga MX150 is in a league of it's own.
We set out to create the perfect trail machine for having fun confidently in the Kootenay steeps. Using patented 3VO Kinematic perfected by Chris Currie, we designed ideal trail weapon for shredding the trails we build in Revelstoke's surrounding playgrounds.
Why Steel?
Heat treated 4130 Chromoly Steel absorbs and dissipates vibrations more effectively, resulting in a smoother ride. This makes it an ideal material for the front triangle which will soften the feel on your hands. Known for its durability and long fatigue life, steel is a great choice for riders looking for a frame that can last decades, even under heavy use.
Why Aluminum?
While steel is absolutely real, aluminum too, is real... Our welded aluminum swingarm utilizes the best properties of the material. Lightweight, stiff, and strong. We wanted the swingarm and linkage assembly to be as laterally (left to right) rigid as possible. The two welded bridges and robust stays make this swingarm burly enough to hold up to the most sideways of landings. We understand the value of being able to power through a berm on a chassis that won't twist up on you when you need support the most.
Why 3VO?
The 3VO platform was created and perfected over decades by suspension guru Chris Currie. 3VO provides the sweet spot of sensitivity and efficiency balancing pedaling efficiency and compliance on descents. The progressive leverage ratio works well with air or coil shocks.
Why Mullet?
Mullet (MX) mean business (29" wheel) up front, party (27.5" wheel) in the back. We believe the mixed wheel platform is the most ideal configuration for this chassis. The Kanga powers up techy climbs efficiently thanks to 3VO, while maximizing fun on the side hits and corners during party laps. Mixed wheel gives a tail-low feeling when descending steep terrain, giving you more even weight distribution and confidence. The smaller rear wheel also has a tighter turning radius than the 29er. This allows the rear end of the bike to effectively pivot around the front end in corners, helping you get out of a bad line more quickly, and have more fun cornering with less effort.
