July 2024 Update: Our first round of V2.0 frames are being tested and the V2.1 update is ready for manufacturing. Once we are happy with our updates and we pass ISO4210.6 structural testing, KangaRabbit frames will be flying out of the shop in Fall 2024.

The Kanga is all about two things:

Mullet wheels mean business (29" wheel) up front, party (27.5" wheel) in the back. The Kanga powers up techy climbs efficiently, while maximizing fun on the side hits and corners during party laps. Mixed wheel gives a tail-low feeling when descending steep terrain, giving you more even weight distribution and confidence. The smaller rear wheel also has a tighter turning radius than the 29er. This allows the rear end of the bike to pivot around the front end in corners, helping you get out of a bad line more quickly, and have more fun cornering.

We set out to create the perfect trail machine for having fun confidently in the Kootenay steeps. Using Chris Currie's 3VO kinematic, we designed ideal trail weapon for shredding the trails we build in Revelstoke's surrounding playgrounds.

This made in Revelstoke steel & aluminum frame is in a league of it’s own.

Version 2 of the 3VO KangaRabbit 150 is includes these exciting updates:

Swingarm

Mixed wheel platform
Widened pivots for more torsional stiffness
Welded seat stay bridge makes swingarm laterally robust
Formed AL7005 2mm wall stays are formed and welded into swingarm
CNC machined AL7005 components interface to linkage and dropouts
Heat treated to T6 condition
435mm or 445mm chain stay lengths via modular dropouts
